MOIST Surf Wear provides secure online payment options for customers purchasing our products.
1. Currency
Unless otherwise stated, all prices displayed on the MOIST Surf Wear website are in South African Rand (ZAR).
2. Product prices
The price payable for a product is the price displayed at the time the order is placed. Where applicable, delivery charges, taxes or other additional costs will be disclosed before the customer completes the transaction. MOIST will not intentionally charge a customer more than the amount authorised during checkout.
3. Payment methods
Available payment methods will be displayed during checkout. These may include:
- debit and credit cards;
- instant electronic payments;
- EFT, where offered;
- approved payment gateways; and
- other payment methods introduced by MOIST from time to time.
Certain payment methods may have additional conditions or processing requirements.
4. Payment authorisation
An order is only considered paid once payment has been successfully authorised or confirmed. MOIST reserves the right to delay processing or cancel an order where payment cannot be verified. Where an order is cancelled because payment was not successfully completed, the customer will not be charged for the cancelled order.
5. Payment security
Payment information may be processed by an independent third-party payment service provider. Where a third-party payment gateway is used, payment card information may be processed directly by that provider rather than stored by MOIST. Customers should review the applicable payment provider's terms and privacy policy. MOIST will take reasonable measures to protect information under its control.
6. Fraud prevention
MOIST may perform reasonable checks to detect fraudulent or unauthorised transactions. Where a transaction appears suspicious or cannot be reasonably verified, MOIST may contact the customer for additional information or decline the transaction.
We will not request your full card PIN, banking password or similar confidential banking credentials by email or social media.
7. Refunds
Where a refund is legally or contractually due, it will normally be processed using the original payment method where reasonably possible. The time taken for the refund to appear in the customer's account may depend on the customer's bank or payment service provider. Nothing in this policy limits a consumer's statutory refund rights under applicable South African law.
8. Payment errors
If you believe you have been incorrectly charged, contact MOIST using the email link in the footer. Please include your order number and relevant transaction information. Do not send passwords, PINs or full card details by email.
9. Promotional prices
Promotional prices, discounts and special offers are subject to the conditions displayed with the relevant promotion. Unless otherwise stated, promotions cannot be combined. Where a promotion has a specified start or end date, the stated dates will apply.
10. Availability
Adding a product to a shopping cart does not necessarily guarantee that the product will remain available. If an item becomes unavailable after an order has been placed and MOIST cannot fulfil the order, we will contact the customer and provide an appropriate remedy, including a refund where applicable.
